Sizing Restroom Trailers for Your Guest Count

The number of bathrooms you need follows your guest count. Try the sizing tool below, then read how we work out the right trailer for an event.

Every guest number we list is a maximum, calculated at one bathroom (a private room or a urinal) per 50 guests. That is where the ratings come from: the Classic 2 serves up to 100 guests, the Estate 3 and the Metro 4 up to 150, the Signature 5 up to 250 and the Grand 10 up to 500.

A trailer running at its maximum will see short lines at peak moments. If you want guests to walk right in, plan on one bathroom per 25 guests. In practice, that means choosing a trailer rated for roughly double your headcount.

Who is coming matters as well. Private rooms stay occupied longer than urinals, so for weddings and galas we favor layouts with more rooms, such as the Estate 3. For festivals and sports crowds, urinals clear a line faster.

Then look at the site. A single larger trailer in a central spot often works better than two small ones, but on a spread-out property with long walking distances, one trailer at each end can be the better plan. Send us a site map or a few photos and we will recommend a setup.

The guest number on each trailer is its ceiling, at 1 bathroom per 50 people. Plan 1 per 25 if you want no waiting at all.
